Jeffery Norell has been through his own struggles with alcohol and drug addiction. Throughout his time in active addiction he was estranged from his family, experienced homelessness, and was jailed for crimes to support his alcohol and drug habit. His mother had had enough of watching her son deteriorate and decided to coordinate an intervention for him. This was not an easy process especially for his mother Joyce, but with her steadfastness Jeffery finally agreed and entered an addiction rehab program. Today Jeffery has over 20 years of continuous abstinence-based recovery. His mother Joyce has since passed, but before she did, she got to see her son return the person she knew before addiction. Joyce requested that her final resting place be in the Pacific Ocean. A place where she and her sons shared many great memories. In honor of his mother Jeffery named the organization, Pacific Intervention & Recovery Solutions.  

Empathy and a strong desire to help those challenged by the addiction led Jeffery Norell to becoming an interventionist, certified addiction counsellor, and now a successful alcohol and drug treatment provider. When he says he understands exactly what it’s like to be trapped in addiction, he means it. This personal experience combined with extensive education, skill, and training allowed him to create a program that offers practical and tangible recovery solutions.

As a member of the Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certificate Federation (C.A.C.C.F.), and holding a Canadian Certified Addiction Counsellor (C.C.A.C.) designation, he has a long track record of working in the addiction field. Having spent over 15 years as an Addiction Counsellor and Alcohol & Drug Addiction Interventionist he has an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience. As an interventionist Jeffery Norell has helped guide hundreds of individuals and families through the process of recovery towards a balanced life free from the adverse effects of drug & alcohol addiction.
