Lou Grant: Your First Point of Contact for Help in Vancouver & the Lower Mainland.
Lou’s primary role at Pacific Interventions is to be the steady, relatable resource for people during their most difficult moments. As our Intake Coordinator in Vancouver, Lou Grant is often the very first person a family speaks to. He understands that picking up the phone to ask for help takes immense courage, and he treats every call with the respect it deserves.
He has a unique ability to relate to almost any situation without judgment or expectations. Lou isn’t there to categorize you; he is there to listen. Whether you are a parent in Surrey or a spouse in Vancouver, Lou meets you exactly where you are. He ensures that your first conversation with us is a safe space where you feel heard, before introducing you to the right people on our team who can address your specific needs.
25 Years of Insight into British Columbia’s Recovery Community
While Lou’s focus is on intake and communications, his work is backed by 30 years of experience within the BC recovery community. Since the early 90s, he has worked in numerous residential centres and multiple life skills and employment agencies.
This deep history means Lou brings to the team an understanding of how the support system works in the Lower Mainland. He has held roles ranging from front-line support to operations management for private housing and sober living environments. He uses this experience to ensure that every family who calls is met with the wisdom and perspective of three decades of service.
Website Transparency and Honest Digital Communication
Since 2018, Lou has also applied this lifelong experience to his role as the Director of Digital Communications for Pacific Interventions. He manages our website, SEO strategies, and all of our written content. Lou believes that families deserve to see exactly who we are and how we work before they ever make a call.
By overseeing our digital presence, Lou ensures that our company’s values—honesty, transparency, and straightforward care—are clear to every reader. He bridges the gap between the family or friends and the recovery world, ensuring the information you find online is easy to understand, accurate, and trustworthy.
