Private Drug and Alcohol Testing

When you need answers immediately, our POCT will be the best option. Pacific Interventions & Recovery Solutions provides various panel drug and alcohol testing depending on your specific need. This type of urinalysis test reveals what drugs are currently in the persons system.  Unlike lab based tests, the amount of each substance is not measured.  Adulteration strips are used to ensure the correct PH balance, creatine levels, and that no foreign elements have been added to the test.  Your results will be accurate and reliable!

Lab-Based Test

When you need a lab-based test, chain-of-custody is the most important process of documentation of evidence.  Thus, our trained staff will complete all necessary forms and have your results back within a few days.  This drug and alcohol testing is conducted like a point of collection test.  The collection is sent off to a separate lab for review by a Medical Review Officer.  The DOT (Department of Transport) has very specific steps as to how samples are collected and reviewed.  Any Canadians working under the DOT and travelling into the United States will need to comply with the standards set by the governing agencies.  Click Here to Learn More

Hair Follicle Testing

A hair follicle test is commonly used for court purposes.  The hair is collected and sent off to a lab for review.  These tests can be used to go back about 90 days, and are almost impossible to tamper with.

Nail Clipping Testing

Nail clipping tests can go back about 12 months.  1-3mm is needed for samples.  Each sample is collected and sent to a lab for review.  This test can be more effective than a hair follicle test.
